Lore:

In the far, far future, humans have created the Galactic Aerospace Republic. It has control over several star systems. The government of the Republic used to be housed on Earth, but they have moved to another planet due to Earth's resources being used up. This has caused crime rates to skyrocket on Earth, as gangs of bandits ravage the lands, searching for scraps.

You play as a Reborn, a warrior who died a long time ago, but miraculously came back to life due to an Ark Drone. The Reborn have access to elemental powers and they protect the lives of the innocent and destroy evil in the name of God.

The Reborn you play as is called the "Paladin". This is a special title given to someone of particular importance.
